The Three Headline Additions

These are the major new combat and progression targets introduced with the full release.

New Survivor

Ranger

Ranger is the ninth Survivor. She fights with a crossbow and animal companions, boosts the team's Critical and Luck stats, and offers healing options for the squad.

Unlock: Reach Survival Level 175.
New Arena

Bio Lab

Bio Lab is a circular arena filled with toxic fumes around the borders. The decontamination process creates a moving danger zone, while the area introduces new enemies and powerful foes.

Unlock: Complete Dead Terminal on Default mode.
New Game Mode

Boss Rush

Start a normal run, but race the clock to become powerful before the tenth minute. The Final Boss of the area then spawns, and faster kills place higher on the arena and difficulty leaderboards.

Unlock: Complete Hardcore mode for each map.

The Survivors' Camp, Story, and Missions

The Camp becomes the between-run hub for narrative progression, missions, conversations, radio messages, and character development.

System What 1.0 adds How it helps your next run
Survivors' Camp A new hub with old and new interfaces, hidden details, radio transmissions, and conversations between Survivors. Visit between runs to read objectives, follow character stories, and decide what to attempt next.
Main Story 15 consecutive missions about the Survivors' discovery of the source of the virus. Use the Briefing Room to pick up the next narrative objective after a run.
Survivor Missions 45 missions total: five personal missions for each of the nine Survivors. Character questlines reveal backstories while creating extra objectives for normal runs.
Repeatable Missions 19 repeatable quests that continue the mission and Friendship systems. Keep building long-term rewards after the main and personal stories are underway.
Mission Log Review previous events, check whether a map or mode is required, and manually retry an incomplete mission. Random mission order does not permanently block a story thread.
Friendship Completed missions permanently increase the Cash and Specialization points received at the end of runs. Mission progress improves later permanent progression instead of being story-only.
Quick Run A fast path from the menu for players who want to start a run without visiting every Camp interface. Use the Camp when you need information; use Quick Run when your objective is already clear.

Rank 5 Skill Trees and New Synergies

Every Survivor gets more room to specialize

  • Rank 5: Each Survivor's skill tree gains a fifth rank with new options.
  • Four cross-Survivor synergies: Three are tied to abilities; the fourth works independently of abilities.
  • New nodes per Survivor: Two synergy nodes, two passive improvement nodes, and one passive node that benefits the whole team while that Survivor is present.
  • Build implication: Team composition matters more because the best node can depend on the other two Survivors in the squad.

New Completion Content

The full release expands the achievement, item, challenge, and Survivor presentation layers together.

Achievements

88 new goals

The full release adds 88 achievements, bringing the total to 229. Sixty-four of the new entries belong to the Story category and connect to the new Camp mission system.

View the 229-achievement route →

Items

21 new items

Most new items are connected to the new achievements, while five are awarded as bonuses from the main story missions.

Challenges

28 Torments

Torments are optional, extra-difficult challenges in the Hall of Torments. They offer bragging rights and are not needed for the achievement system or 100% completion.

Presentation

New Survivor art and dogs

Version 1.0 adds high-resolution 2D bust art for every Survivor, new music and sound effects, and dogs as part of the expanded world.

The 21 New Items

Names below are transcribed from the official 1.0 changelog. Their current in-game effects should be checked in the client.

Important Rules and Balance Changes

These are the changes most likely to invalidate an older Early Access guide.

Quality-of-Life and Fixes

Area 1.0 change
Performance Another optimization and loading pass, with the goal of higher framerates.
Run ending Run end screens receive improvements and a small rework.
Unlock display Infinite mode now uses the correct per-arena Endurance requirement.
Items Glass of Milk is no longer incorrectly classified as a healing item; damage-type tag calculations also receive fixes.
Progress rewards Cash and Specialization gains display correctly when maximum rank is reached within the same run.
Interface Mouse cursor behavior, UI interactions, translations, music loop timing, and other smaller issues receive fixes.

Returning Player Checklist
